Echo, a support dog and his caregiver, May, try to re-invigorate Ram, an old grumpy man at the end of his life. Ram invites his estranged son, Surya to tell him about his sickness. However, they end up fighting and Surya leaves. Surya meets May who enlightens him about her struggles with her late mother. Surya comes back to Ram's to see that his father has finished the book he's been writing his whole life and is moved by the ending, which conveys Ram's feelings for his son. The father and son embrace while May and Echo look on.
