She takes him in as a guest, hoping that his memory will recover once his wounds heal. While she helps nurse him to health, the two start falling in love. But everything changes when his wife comes to get him. When another woman comes forward claiming to be Jay's wife as well, he's put on trial for bigamy and Charlotte defends him.
