
Trevor Ambrose, ACE, CCE, is an award-winning Canadian film and television editor widely regarded as one of the leading comedy editors in North America and the preeminent comedy editor in Canada. He is best known for shaping the heart and timing of iconic series including Schitt's Creek, The Miniature Wife (2026), Saturday Night Live, The Kids in the Hall, and Mark Critch's hit dramedy Son of a Critch. Ambrose’s work on the final season of Schitt's Creek earned him both an Emmy nomination and an ACE Eddie Award, solidifying his reputation for elevating modern comedy through precise, character-driven storytelling. Beyond his television success, his diverse portfolio includes the critically acclaimed documentary Killing Patient Zero, the Warner Bros./New Line hit comedy feature 8-Bit Christmas, and the Christopher Walken dark comedy feature Back in Black, where he served in the dual capacity of Picture Editor and Sound Designer.
