Matt Gray is an award winning British cinematographer with a diverse and acclaimed body of work across TV and film. His recent credits include The Choice for Netflix and Mr Bates vs The Post Office for ITV as well as Doctor Who - The Star Beast the first of the 60th anniversary special 1hr films, for BBC / Disney He has been a key part of the teams that have originated critically acclaimed series such as Broadchurch (season 1), Vigil (season 1), Gentleman Jack (season 1) and shot the Sherlock (un-aired pilot episode) Gray is known for his ability to elevate storytelling through visually compelling cinematography and has collaborated with top directors such as James Strong and high-profile cast including Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Claire Foy, and Tom Hardy. He has worked on multiple award-winning dramas, such as Three Girls, and The Mark Of Cain helping to bring powerful real-life stories to the screen.
