After more than a decade working as an actor across film, television, and theatre, Jesse Griffiths pivoted into casting, bringing with him a deep understanding of performance and the creative process. He founded Jesse Griffiths Casting (JGC) to bridge artistic instinct with strategic execution, pairing bold storytelling with a sharp eye for talent. Jesse is committed to championing inclusion and meaningful representation in every room he enters. Alongside his casting work, he invests in developing the next generation of artists, teaching at Toronto Metropolitan University and Sheridan College, leading workshops for Toronto’s BIPOC community, and mentoring at the Canadian Film Centre’s Actors Conservatory. He is a member of the Casting Society of America (CSA), serves on the Executive of the Casting Directors’ Society of Canada (CDC), and works as a professional academic advisor at Seneca College, George Brown College, and Toronto Metropolitan University. Jesse holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Toronto Metropolitan University.
