Don't be fooled. Although her surname is Bahrani, Sara isn't from Bahrain. She is an Iraqi actress who quickly rose to prominence with her role in the Ramadan TV series Khan Al Thahab. With her degrees in business administration and accounting, as well as her work writing and editing articles, it's hard to imagine she would become one of Iraq's most famous actresses overnight, yet that's what happened. To viewers' dismay, she takes on the character of a greedy and scheming wife of a gold jeweler, ready to ruin the day of her family rivals.
