Grant Parke is an Adelaide based animator and artist. He does not enjoy writing about himself in the 3rd person but thought it gave the air of professionalism. He started animating because he wanted his drawings to move. The earliest shorts 'The Suitcase' and 'Breathe' consist of pencil and paper. Not satisfied with working 6 months for 30 seconds of movement he armed himself with some basic animation software and a mouse and progressed to making his drawings talk. His absurdist shorts include the 'A day in the life' series animating conversations had with customers at his place of work. His short 'Come Fly With Me,' about the search for connection after an interstate move, won the SALA Moving image award in 2019. Description above not from Wikipedia as no listing exists.
