Murray Gold is an English film and TV composer. He is known for his repeated collaboration with writer and showrunner Russell T. Davies and for his scoring work on the revived BBC science fiction series 'Doctor Who', for which he wrote score for the first ten seasons, even after Davies left the series as showrunner in 2009 and handed over the reigns to Steven Moffat.
