In the mid-1970s, Eisi Gulp completed a course of study in dance pantomime at the Billie Millie Studio in Munich. Subsequently, he took classes at the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in New York and, until 1980, studied acrobatics and stunt work in Paris. Beginning in 1980, he toured nationwide for twenty years with his *Eisi Gulp Comedy Show*. In 1984 and 1985, he hosted the youth program *Live aus dem Alabama* for the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation (Bayerischer Rundfunk). Also in 1984, he served as the lead dancer on the ZDF television program *Breakdance*. In 1985, he played the male lead in Percy Adlon's film *Zuckerbaby* (Sugarbaby), starring alongside Marianne Sägebrecht. Eisi Gulp played the character "Pechvogel" (The Jinx) in Peter Maffay's revue *Tabaluga* and appeared as a soloist in the musical *Out of Rosenheim* (also known as *Bagdad Cafe*). Through his comedy program *Hackedicht oder was* (Wasted—Or What?), Eisi Gulp advocates for drug prevention in youth work. The program was performed at numerous schools and received the distinction of being "pedagogically valuable." Eisi Gulp resides in Rosenheim. Gulp regularly appears in supporting roles on television—for instance, in the role of Sebastian Weil, a professional firefighter in Munich, in the series *München 7*. This was a recurring supporting role throughout the first two seasons of the show. Furthermore, Gulp also voices the character "Luck von Bruck am Inn" in episodes of the *Radio-Tatort* series produced by the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation.
