Penimi grew up between Isreal and the US. Spending time between the city outside Tel Aviv in Tzamarot Ayalon and the vineyards of his paternal grandparents in Kibbutz Yad HaShmona and Naperville outside of Chicago as well as Orlando, his mother's family is from Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico ultimately making him from three worlds. Tzadik Penimi was the perpetual dreamer, songs and movie both caused to create movies in his mind and after receiving a vintage 8mm Aurora 215 1xS8S Super 8 from his mother's father this changed his world and perspective for life. Penimi’s thoughts, daydreams and focus became an obsession with movies. He even developed a crazy idea for a camera that could convert live action footage into animation. Fast forward 35 years he’s become an international award winning producer, writer and filmmaker working behind the scenes start to finish in every aspect of the cinematic process has been integral in cultivating rich stories with compelling narratives and complex, relatable characters in vibrant fantasy with a dose of unique comical kitsch. Tzadik Penimi attended and graduated the prestigious Ma'Aleh School of Television, Film & Arts. Raised in both Israel and the United States with relationships in Mexico, Japan and Egypt. Some people refer to him as movie making innovator as well as a business negotiator adept at navigating the challenging and often difficult multi-tier politics of the film industry always seeking to push the envelope proving that the little guy can hold his own with the big boys.
