Born March 30, 1995, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sydney Nicole Hightower grew up in a biracial household as the daughter of a White mother and a Black and Dominican father. She experienced racism firsthand growing up in the South, including having her family's home vandalized and other unfortunate incidents. Hightower graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 2013 alongside future Bachelorette Hannah Brown, and both attended the University of Alabama, where Sydney earned a degree in Biology. Before entering the public eye, Hightower worked as a retail marketing manager. In 2020, while recovering from a serious breakup where her boyfriend ended their two-year relationship just as they were planning to move in together, she auditioned for and was cast on season twenty-four of ABC's The Bachelor. During the show, she formed a connection with pilot Peter Weber, who described her as the best kisser in the mansion. Despite their chemistry, Sydney was eliminated in week six. Weber later explained that while they had an amazing time together, other relationships had grown stronger. Sydney's appearance on The Bachelor unexpectedly changed her life when San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner's sister-in-law encouraged him to watch the show. Fred, who was feeling down after losing Super Bowl LIV to the Kansas City Chiefs, reached out to Sydney via Instagram approximately two weeks after her elimination in March 2020. Alabama-born Sydney admitted she had never heard of Fred before his message, explaining that in Alabama, "it's strictly SEC college football." The couple began dating and got engaged on May 15, 2021, when Fred proposed at a Napa Valley winery, one of Sydney's favorite spots. In a thoughtful nod to how they met, he presented her with The Bachelor's iconic final rose. They married on June 25, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at a small chapel in Vista, California, with guests including numerous Bachelor Nation alums and NFL players. Sydney has built a career as a social media influencer with over 200,000 Instagram followers. In September 2023, she and Fred launched their podcast, "The Warner House," discussing their off-field lives and NFL insights. The couple welcomed their first child, son Beau Anthony, on March 7, 2024, and their second child, daughter Bella Nicole, on January 4, 2026. Sydney regularly shares glimpses of their family life and attends 49ers games to support her husband's career.
