Best known in the Philippines as "Bodjie" from the top rating horror-comedy TV show, "Midnight DJ" of TV 5, Joaqui started his career in entertainment after becoming a finalist of the radio drama contest "Awit Tawanan" of DZMM. He eventually became a voice talent for many films, including his own radio segment in "Love Lines with Joey Galvez," making him one of the youngest radio personalities in the country at the age of 17.
