Alan Hook has been working in the film industry since 1994. After attending Penn State University for graphic design and completing NYU's intensive film programme, he got his start in the industry as a set dresser on a few small television productions. Shortly thereafter, he landed a position as a set designer on the feature 'Empire Records'. After set design on various feature and television projects, he worked his way up to art director on such films as 'Syriana', 'G.I. Joe 2, Retaliation', and 'Flight of the Phoenix'. His first production design experience was on the WB television series 'Dawson's Creek'. He has been lucky enough to travel the world on different productions and now resides in Wilmington, NC. Hook just spent the last 10 years on the road, mostly in Atlanta, GA, working on 'Fast and Furious 7’, “Black Panther’, ‘Bad Boys for Life’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’, and just wrapping production on ‘Captain America: Brave New World’.
