
Kalasuri Arisen Ahubudu (18 March 1920 – 26 May 2011) was a highly celebrated Sri Lankan writer, orator, scholar, playwright, lyricist, and teacher. He is widely recognized for his immense contributions to Sinhala literature and his deep commitment to preserving the purity of the Sinhala language. As a prominent member of the Hela Havula (Pure Sinhala) movement, he dedicated his life to promoting indigenous culture and linguistics.
