After a 20-year prison sentence in the Philippines, gambling king Gao Zhang returns to Hong Kong hoping to reunite with his family. However, his wife He Qi Jiao refuses to forgive him and demands that he leave immediately. Gao Zhang's sincere efforts eventually touch Qi Jiao's heart, and she allows him to stay at home for a month on the condition that he doesn't reveal his true identity as a gambler.
