Yu finally agrees to become Harunobu’s concubine. Harunobu holds a formal wedding ceremony for Yu to symbolize the ties between the two clans. Kansuke leaves for Shinano to devise a stratagem for further territorial expansion, believing that he has succeeded in prevailing on Yu to change her mind.
