FU wants to turn a new leaf, and so CHEONG employs him as an investigator. A car collides with a hearse. KUI witnesses the accident. He recognizes that the victim is CHEUK YAN, his ex-girlfriend, who is a comic book artist. When CHEUK YAN wakes up, she calls herself YAU SUM-MEI, the girl in the hearse. As CHEUK YAN is able to describe MEI’s things of the past, MEI’s mother, CHEUNG LAI-FONG, is convinced that MEI is reincarnated in CHEUK YAN’s body. MEI’s younger brother, YAU SUM-KIT, is doubtful about this though. KUI looks in the matter for them, while TAK consults BIU about how it is like when a person’s body is possessed by a spirit. KIT tells KUI he now believes MEI’s spirit has possessed CHEUK YAN’s body. KUI, bringing along with him a comic book of CHEUK YAN, decides to give MEI a test.… ...
